Found these a couple of days ago - no idea how though.

Not everyone's cuppa, but I like something a bit different and I love retro stuff. I want one of those Rocket basses... And the Airline Map...

They have vids of the being played too.

Edit: And speaking of Rocket, nostalja and retro - here's the original Rockets and the guys wot used them: http://www.hendrixguitars.com/Va166.htm

Yeah they're lovely - I quite fancy the Classic 4 myself. There seem to be mixed reports of them though, so I think I'd like to try one before taking the plunge.

They seem to have a more than passing resemblance to these:

It gets its turn, as I have a lot of basses. I like to use it for money by pink Floyd. it's just got the right tone for it.

there are some videos of me playing it in the archive at www.thekerbcrawlers.co.uk

That link I posted has a fair bit of info on the airline in it. Not tried one myself though, sorry.

I love that Gretsch, and the classic 4 looks great too.

Is there a UK dealer?

Those switch positions just look troublesome, especially if you sling it low.
