RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Decisions , decisions. Not gigging anymore, and I find the pod farm pretty good for effects(tho 'not many bass ones).... Quote
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted August 23, 2013 Author Posted August 23, 2013 anybody done this, or similar ? Quote
Ziphoblat Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Depends if you're never gigging again. My pedalboard comes out for gigs and rehearsals and that's it. The rest of the time I use effects in Amplitube when I'm practicing; hardware effects seem more hassle than it's worth for that. My approach would be that if you were still hanging onto your rig, keep the pedals.. if the rig goes and you stick to headphone practice, get rid of the pedals with it. Quote
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted August 23, 2013 Author Posted August 23, 2013 Thanks for that . I'm keeping my bass amp (g alien Krueger ). I think the sound of a proper bass amp can't really be beat. I get lazy when it comes to the multi fx , and find I don't use them much. Quote
