Squier Vintage Modified Jazz Bass V String

Has anyone got one of these budget 5 strings and would like to comment on the build quality, sound and playability? plus I'd be very interested in knowing what it weighs.

I'm toying with the idea of getting one and using it as the base for a project or just some light pimping
