[/quote]I have mine in a bag attached to my gigbag so I don't forget them. However, I sometimes forget them when I'm going to see a band I SAID I SOMETIMES FORGET THEM WHEN I'M GOING TO SEE A BAND!

but seriously, i don't understand why bands have to practice at ear splitting volumes. Someone please explain to me why?
It's probably why i've never used earplugs as i've never allowed bands i've been in to be ridiculously loud. I've played heavy rock most of my life too

My singer once did this and rolled up toilet paper and put it in his ears. Didn't seem like a good idea at the time; he ended up in A&E 'cause it wouldn't come out.
