Is there an easy way to convert GP files to MP3? Basically what I want to do is play along to drum tracks using a Tascam bass trainer. I tend to play a lot of Rush tracks and there are some excellent drum tracks in GP that somebody has gone to a lot of trouble to create.

Am I asking too much???????

In guitar pro, export the GP file as a wave file. Once saved in .wav format there are numerous programs on the www to convert .wav to .mp3

set the volume of the parts you don't want to hear right down before you do the export... that way you can remove the bass, or else leave its volume alone and pan it right over to one side.

Okay after playing around with this idea I've found a way that works. Save each track individually as a midi file and then import the midi file into Garageband. It's a quite impressive result and makes for some decent homemade backing tracks. (I know whoever created the GP or PT tracks in the first place has done all the real donkey work)
