danweb22
[s]Looking for £60 which includes UK postage Selling my COG Effects Tarkin Fuzz only because I have just bought a custom version with added blend/mid knobs. Wouldn't be selling it otherwise as it it one of the best fuzzes I have the pleasure to use. Tarkin Fuzz This one isn't about being subtle. Based on the Green Russian version of the classic 4-Transistor fuzz circuit we all know and love, the Tarkin is tuned for the bass guitar and thick guitar sounds. Crank the In knob for more bite and top-end presence, and push the Mid Shift switch to cut through a live mix. Roll back the volume knob on the guitar and you may find yourself surprised at the level of clean-up you can achieve. The Tone knob takes you from deep rumbling wool through to nasty ice-pick fizz. Bass players will likely not venture past the 2 o'clock point without physical abuse from bandmates, but it's there if you need it. The Mid Shift switch and Tone knob are highly interactive and experimentation is highly encouraged. * In, Tone and Out controls provide a range of fuzz tones * Mid Shift switch gives either scooped mids for that classic sound, or flat mids to cut through in a band setting * 2.1mm Boss-style 9v DC input (power supply not included) * True Bypass Switching * Die-cast Aluminium box[/s] Edited September 17, 2013 by danweb22
krispn
Cog Effects are brilliant and any of you pedal heads should have one. It's as simple as that! I'm considering having the Tarkin worked into a custom build Tom @Cog did for me. GLWTS Edited August 26, 2013 by krispn
