£750

Got this off bass off basschat about a year ago. It's extremely nice, but the only bass I ever really play is my ESP P-Bass.

It's a natural Fender Marcus Miller 4 string, over £400 of upgrades.

Upgrades are John East Marcus 01 pre amp and plate. http://www.bestbassg...etro-preamp.htm

Seymour Duncan Antiquity Pickups.

So all the standard weak spots in the Marcus Miller upgraded.

Comes in a tweed hard case.

I'm based near Colchester. Happy to courier at cost.

Actually you may well be able to get some of the upgrades cheaper now. Looking online now:-

John East marcus 01 with plate £230
Seymour Antiquity II £93 each
Hardcase about £40
Total = £466

You may well be able to find these cheaper, I've not searched extensively. Lets just say it's got a couple of nice upgrades and a case. Will update above. Certainly don't want to mislead anyone.

Wow, I thinks thats my old Miller bass, did ya buy it off an Irish guy, Mark was his name? I did all them upgrades, I spent a fortune on that bass, all the work was done by Derek Nelson of danvel guitars, hes crafted guitars for bono, the edge etc. Its an awesome axe. If its the same one, I really really regret selling it. Best of luck with the sale.

Thanks cavster123, yes it's a good one no doubt.

funkle, really sorry about the delay, just been busy with family and work. I need to get some scales, will do my best to get it weighed Tuesday evening.

It's not lightweight being a 70s Jazz replica, about average I would have thought for a MM, guess would be 10lbs.

Cheers

Have finally got some scales. Not sure how accurate they are, but looks weigh about 10lbs. I'm an average sized chap and it has always felt very comfortable to me, but if you have back issues then it's not going to be for you.

Cheers

PMs replied too.

This is the model made in Japan rather than the later Mexican one. Few people have asked that so added it to the title also.

Cheers.
