Seriously, if you just want it for a noodle and youre not a perfectionist it'll be OK, if you want anymore than that or you like a specific or really trimmed down action, look elsewhere (and maybe dig a bit deeper into them pockets!). neepheid Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 It'll certainly be a cut above the usual £50 43" long (because that's such a useful measurement) crap (Swift or whatever name they're putting on the headstock this week) that floats around on eBay. Remember that it's an auction, so it might not stay at £50. If it stays below £100 then I think you'll have got a good deal. Quote

If you intend to use it acoustically ie jamming with friends or sitting at the bottom of the garden on a sunny afternoon with the barbecue on then fine. If you only ever play indoors at home or rehersals or gigging then put your money towards your next "electric bass" instead, or practice your "hey noddy noddys" and form a folk band ..................
