karlfer
Hello all. My Geddy has attracted little interest, I need less basses hence this one going up. 2006, Korean with Fralin. Includes Gator hardcase and mint green (mucky white) scratchplate. Based on Glaub's 1964 Fender Precision. Excellent condition, 2 little dints in back of neck, quite a bit of " certain light" scuffing on the back. Two proper scratches on the back, neither through paint. The markers on the fretboard are the same as on the Sheehan Attitude. They are high quality stick on's that you cannot feel. If you choose to remove them, no residue is left behind. On one of the photos of the back it looks like a lot of scratches. It is actually light shining off the tips of the blades of grass, being reflected in the bass It has a Jason Lollar jazz pick up professionally installed (last owner timmchale2009 got it done) Jazz Bass Pickups JBass It still only has two rotaries, front is concentric. Top part is jazz pup vol, bottom is P pup vol. This apparently means no volume bleed between the two. The back rotary is just a master tone. No PAINPal I'm afraid, cleared cheque, cash on collection or bank transfer. If you are non UK, I will ship, but you will need to sort your own courier and insurance. My feedback is at the bottom of all my posts. Bass is £600 collected from Wigan, or £635 UK couriered/insured. Fell free to sort own courier. POSSIBLE TRADE for Fiesta Red Road Worn jazz. I like Mex basses I owned this bass before and allowed Tim £650 for it against my AV62 RI Jazz, but happy with £600 cash. Any trial in Wigan,no obligation. Many thanks, Karl. karlfer
Cheers Tim. All the rig needed as backline at a recent large outdoor festival. Certainly all that is ever needed at the pubs that are our bread and butter. And most Saturday or Sunday mornings around 2am, my back thanks me for it

karlfer
Looking like I'm going to Tim. I have a queue forming for the 75 RI that was reluctantly put up, despite purposely not bumping it since the Geddy went. Stupidly though I forgot to remove the ad. karlfer
Hello Mark, nothing really changed to be honest. Still on FEEBay at £700 BIN (plus courier costs). Not really bumping it here as seems little interest, even though for the reason of fees etc it is still £100 cheaper here (plus courier costs). I allowed quite a lot for this when I got it so really won't be going any cheaper. Part of that allowance was because of the costs of the mods (over £200) but I wouldn't expect to get that back. However, other Glaubs have gone on here for £600 and more, so I think I am asking a fair amount. Especially with a Gator hardcase included in the price. Guess by the fact it's still here others must disagree Oh it will very probably be at The Flying Shuttle in Bury on Saturday night. Conjovi
I think (as a Lakland user) £600 is a fair price mate. Pity I'm playing on Saturday night myself or I may have come over and taken it off your hands I was just wondering on the sound, I guess with the added jazz its a lot tighter and punchier than with just the split precision? karlfer
As you know Mark, sound is a very subjective issue, not just ruled by bass but style, strings, set up, amp, amp settings, cab, room and all the other things that can make tiny differences. What I will say is that with the middle pup solo'd it is a typical P, but the jazz dialed in just a touch makes it that bit spicier. You have all the good stuff from a PJ WITHOUT the volume bleed that is usually associated with a P/J. Currently set up with flats, best idea regarding an unbiased comment on sound is to pm timmchale2009. He gigged it quite a bit more than me, and isn't in a position whereby he is trying to sell it. Cheers, Karl.
