Kalim
Hi, Can someone please give some advice. I am in the process of changing the 15inch Speaker in my TC gb250 Combo to a Celestion BN15-300S NEO Magnet Bass Guitar Speaker 15" it has the same eight holes for the screws so it should fit but would like to know if this 300 watt 4ohm speaker would be OK to make this change or are there any other factors that I would need to take in account. The combo has a 250 watt digital amp. Cheers Kalim
Mr. Foxen
The other factors you need to take into account are the box size vs. Thiele-small specs of the driver. Get that wrong and you make yourself a fart machine.
stevie
As long as it fits in the hole, there is very little that could go wrong. Use some foam gasket round the Celestion when you fit it. Be VERY careful with the screwdriver - they have a tendency to slip off the screws and through the cone.
