Is this a genuine fender? If so, what model? The neck is custom shop apparently..

I really dont get the relic/roadworn I just think they look like old rubbish basses that have not been looked after I would just rather have a nice mint bass but mind you I am a bit of a stickler for looking after my gear

..my old wooden box trailer has wood like that from being left out in the rain, snow, sleet and hail...reminds me I should get around to replacing the wood on that.

Bit of a saucy/cheeky/moody/snidey ad' too, although it declares Fender, it doesn't say anything else..could it of once been a MIM'J?

Ahh, got a reply..... it's not a Fender, doesn't know year, make, or model...

....a [u][i][b]VERY[/b][/i][/u] cosmetically challanged 'Encore/Westfield/Harley Benton etc stylee' copy?

scrub that even a Westie has a proper truss-rod adjustment bezal...my pound shop Nevada hasn't though

I thought the same thing. Miraculously the frets escaped this natural wear process.........lol :D
