Jellyfish
I don't know much about Fender's. In fact I know hardly anything, but what I do know is that if there is no sign of a serial number on the auction then there's a good chance that it's not quite the real deal. Also, it looks in way too good of a condition to really warrant selling at £1,300, so something can't be right.
Something similar was happening with bicycles. The same "do not bid without authorisation" and a BIN price. The bicycles were all high end. Personally, I believe this is a scam. If you look at the seller's other items, they include a number of expensive items all with the above pattern, and a few clothes. I see that the seller includes a bicycle in their other items, so it may be the same scammer as previously discussed on bike forums. I suspect that the scam is to advertise cheap items, and get the victim to transfer the monies by bank transfer. I'll leave it up as an exercise to the readers as to what happens (or doesn't happen) next. Edited August 28, 2013 by Annoying Twit
yeah, that's the bit I thought was very strange, as well as the do not bid without authorisation, could be a good way to bypass ebay fees though, look at his feedback, nothing wrong there. discreet
It has an email address in the listing and therefore is in contravention of eBay rules, as is displaying a BIN while listing as an auction. Avoidance of eBay fees. I bet this is a hacked account. The bass certainly will not be sent to whoever shells out the asking price for it.

I email him saying il give him the cash and collect,he says he will deliver for FREE from Aberdeen to Milton Keynes once pay,but must be thru eBay. How weird. Now the same chipper and description appears alot, obviously hacking people's accounts. I email EVery time, calling them scamming c##ts and I hope they die slowly, makes me feel better!
