Squier VMJ Under Pickguard Photos?

Hey guys,

Anyone got pictures of what the neck pickup route is like under a Squier Vintage Modified Jazz?

I like the look of them but id be taking the pickguard off it

Preferably a Natural or 3TSB

It's a channel cut through the body to the control cavity, so would show when you take the pickguard off.

Vintage (i.e. JHS) Jaco copy (that would be fretless too, so again would need a neck from a Vintage J)?

That's a good idea, which i was going with until the realisation that i couldn't find a VMJ fretless body anywhere.

3TSB + No Pickguard + Maple Fretted Neck

I'm off to have one of the white VMJ basses ordered to my local music shop tomorrow. Like you I would of preferred it if the neck route was direct round the pick up as i like having the pickguard off too but I suppose you can't win them all!

Im pretty sure the Jap re issues have no extra routing under the pickgaurd but they may be out of your budget.
