What is a CJM Fanndec when it's at home?

I'm not going to buy it, but I think it looks quite nice. A quick google shows that it's a UK brand but the instruments are made in China.

Out of curiosity, are they any good?

I don't take much notice of the 'X people an hour are viewing this item'. I've seen astonishing overpriced cack, and still people are viewing it. It could easily be reflectoporn fetishists closely examining every object on ebay which has a shiny surface on it. Other things that are good and very well priced still seem to sit around forever despite large numbers of people viewing the listing. Ebay seem to go over the top with their inducements to buy. When I got outbid on an Encore P-bass that I put a silly bid on in the expectation of taking it to bits and practicing rebuilding on it, I get all these exhortations to bid quickly and don't let it get away. Hmm.... Yes, I think I am going to let that one get away from me if someone else is actually prepared to pay for it.
