What Bass ? Punchy Sound + Precision Neck + Pickgaurd

Thanks to everyone who took the trouble to reply.There are lots of very interesting suggestions which I've had a look at ; but a big concensus for a Music Man Stingray. I would not ignore such a volume of advice and knowledge.After some further research ,a Stingray 4 string 3EQ HH in Natural Ash is on the list , the amp can come later.

Stingray all the way!

Having recently aquired one, i cant recommend them highly enough. Tried mine in anger with the full live band the other night, no problems coming through and thats with a loud drummer and two loud guitarists!!!

honestly, an ATK is pretty much the same as a stingray for roughly half the price. i'd seriously reccomend trying one before you buy a stingray - you never know, you might even prefer it to the stingray.
