vmaxblues Posted August 31, 2013 Author Posted August 31, 2013 A couple to be getting on with! courtesy of the previous owner. It is actually a really nice greeny brown, but it is hard to capture. Mornats Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 How does this compare to your Rockbass Corvette (I have one so that's a good comparison). I find my Rockbass's tone nice, but it's active and I much prefer a passive sound now. It's also fairly heavy and large (and I'm looking for a smaller, lightweight bass).
vmaxblues Posted September 1, 2013 Author Posted September 1, 2013 There is no real comparison between a Rockbass and a pukka Warwick, I have had both and currently own a RB Corvette, and whilst the Rockbasses are very good instruments, these are a different level altogether. Tonally for a passive this is brilliant, and thanks to the tonewoods it really growls when you dig in, great tone. It will be heavier than the Rockbass due to the nature of the hardwoods, but it is well balanced and not too heavy. Hope this helps.
vmaxblues Posted September 1, 2013 Author Posted September 1, 2013 Always willing to listen to interesting trades!
