Vintage (make) Les Paul style guitar V100 factory relic guitar
£120

Recommended Posts

'Vintage' (make) Les Paul V100 the factory distressed one (set neck as per Gibson). Has a Hot Slags pup in the bridge position (original Wilkinson one still in neck position and existing bridge one full working and supplied). Really lovely low action and great sound... stick a tattoo on the headstock and it'd fool Joe Public.

Can courier but I'd prefer collection from NE England

Hot Slags? Really!

Erm... yes I'm fairly sure! Is that not right?

It was fitted by the previous owner and I'm sure that is what he said it was. I'm fairly sure that I have the box for the fitted pup as the original is stored in it, it'll take a bit of digging through boxes (house move and some stuff still not unpacked yet) to check. Is there a problem with it if it is a HS, or is it the silly name you are commenting on? :D

Purely the Hot Slags name for comic effect. I did goole them though and find some sound clips. Those Slags are rockin'

Phew that saves me hunting through the pile of boxes to establish I wasn't cracking up. :D

Great guitar and price. Paul in the Quireboys sometimes gigs his instead of his Gibson.

Yes Paul and I went to school together (still see him 'infrequently' when he pops back ooop North) and I recall seeing various pics and vids of him with various 'Vintage' guitars.

I suspect it's really Hot Slag, but adding an 's' might work for you as it did for the motor industry. ;)

I don't need more gear right now, but that's a great price.

Cheers.

Ossum, small world; I interviewed him a couple of weeks ago, top bloke :)

And yes, it's an Iron Gear Hot Slag pickup, which are great, and worth an extra twenty quid alone; £120 for that's a lot of guitar for bugger-all money B)
