By stacked, i guess i mean humbuckers that fit into the single J pickup space!?

My friend has one in his Strat, similar to one in the pic i've attached!

Anyone have an idea?

Bartolini do humbucking J-pickups. They're mentioned on the [url="http://www.bartolini.net/information/bass/new_bass_pu_s4.htm"]bartolini website[/url] as on option but there'e not much detail.

Lindy Fralin do them too [url="http://www.fralinpickups.com/bass.asp"]here[/url]

Or you could speak to [url="http://www.wizardpickups.co.uk/"]wizard pickups[/url] in the UK to see if they have or can make something.

The Bartolinis have both coils next to each other (like a P pup in a J shape) rather than the guitar method of doing it which is either to have two very thin coils in standard humbucking configuration or the stack the coils.

The Lindy Fralin Split Coil pickup, does anyone know if that gives a higher output? Or simply just reduces hum?
