dub_junkie
Either a musicman Bongo HH or a G&L L-2000. The first super versatile hi-fi sounding and the other super versatile dark, organic sounding. Funny enough I'm in the process of changing from the former to the latter this coming week. Noisyjon
For me it'd be a Lakland USA Bob Glaub model.
SolomonHelsing
My Warmoth 5 string Z bass with Jazz and Powerbucker, Built it as a bass to keep forever, and doing so i will be. Was honestly a big gamble as it was my first warmoth, first five string, and first odd pickup combination, But it payed off .
Prime_BASS
Basses that can do it all? Stingray, and it's derivatives. Just capable of doing all sounds with simple playing technique changes and me little EQ variance. For me I love playing J type basses at the minute, smashing it over the bridge pickup with the neck rolled off to get rid of the pure scoop sound. Dirty sound!. I will buy my old Stingray back though.

Conan
Status series II. It does the lot (except fretless of course, due to the presence of frets...).

Mornats
Gawd, if I knew the answer to this I wouldn't have 6 basses. I'm currently on the hunt for "the one".
