Nady Wireless

Anyone remember this awful 80's/90's wireless systems that lasted a fortnight! Awful

A few years back I had one of their wireless monitoring systems, but it was the US version for their frequencies. I knew where every taxi in town was going during our sets

I must have the only one that's still working! £50 in cashies a few years back and it's still going strong... that said I've a gig at an RAF base soon and I'm half expecting a Spinal Tap moment

I had one - think it was a 201 or summat. Had the true diversity twin aerials. Used it for years with no problems at all.

I had a 201 system that I used for about 20 years without issue before it packed up. Seemed okay although expensive for the time. I've since moved onto Samson Airline then a Line6 G30.

Yeh the diversity jobs were much better! Is there a decent budget job out there now?

I still own and use one.

No problems with it at all.

I've got one too. Works fine for what it is - never had any problems with it since I bought it used from here

I bought one back in the 80s but it sounded so horrible I took it back & got a refund.

I've got a Trantec wireless system somewhere in the loft. Never had a problem with it. Picked up the local taxi firm once or twice but at least I always had a lift home from the gig

I won an award back in 1988 for selling a bucket load of the 101 system when I was working in retail....... Don't know if anyone remembers but Nady also produced a guitar and bass with integrated wireless system...... Can't remember the model but it was very Ibanez and very pointy!!

Still have my nady encore system as my back up to my x2. Still works brilliantly.

This post has just reminded me that I have a Nady 201 somewhere. I might get it out for a spin soon. I haven't used it in years but I don't recall having any issues with it in the past.
