geoffbyrne
Jedson? G.
discreet
Have you had visual contact with it in meatspace? It looks short scale to me. Edited September 4, 2013 by discreet
paul h
Jedson? G.
I concur.
BigRedX
If not Jedson, then something from the same factory with a different importer's brand name on it. And IMO overpriced by £
Donnyboy
Think I'll leave it - it's not bargain of the century then!! Oh and it's been reduced to £30 Here's the link - it's in Fife, Scotlandshire http://www.gumtree.com/p/for-sale/electric-bass-guitar/1030273561
discreet
You could probably make a few bob by parting out the bits on the Bay. Probably. Edited September 4, 2013 by discreet
Donnyboy
Can't be arsed with that malarkey , I'll post it on the Weird & Wunnerful section, I mean it's a classic , obviously.
Freddy Le Cragg
I had a white guitar labelled Jedson which was identical to that. I paid 35 and sold it on for £150.
BigRedX
If the strap's included it might be worth offering £20 for it... If it is the same as the Jedson then it will be very short scale > 30"
grayn
My mate had one of those, in the early 70s. It was dreadful then, I don't suppose it'll have improved with time.
iiipopes
Holy.... I have the guitar version that my mother bought for me out of a Sears Roebuck retail catalog in the spring of 1975. Seriously: 4-pole pickups instead of 6-pole pickups for guitar, bass tuners instead of guitar tuners, and the bass bridge moved back to the tail, of course, but the body, body color, neck, and everything else is identical. If I could get it over to the USA, I'd get it today. Here's a video of one exactly like my guitar: Edited September 4, 2013 by iiipopes
bertbass
Jedson, Zenta, Kay? Same bass different name. Generally considered crap. Sold in Woolworths for not a lot.
Hobbayne
Sears Roebuck? Is that the American version of Argos?
Mr. Foxen
Had one, rubbish. Came with a nicer strap than that, I still use that. Think I sold to a BCer as a project.
TheRev
My first bass was a Jedson. It had a separate bridge / tailpiece and a plastic Jedson logo on the headstock. I don't think this is a Jedson but it looks identical to my old bass in every way except the bridge and logo. My bass was crap.
