bigevilman
I love how my Ray plays- tis so comfortable - but I cant seem to get used to the sound of a single pickup. So instead of getting rid, id like to do a bit of modification! So a few questions:- 1. Pickup wise, do I need to get a pickup voiced the same or do is there one specifically for the neck position? 2. What price am I looking at for fitting for routing out and fitting a humbucker by a reliable luthier? 3. Can anyone recommend a good luthier Hull/ York way? tommorichards
I can only really answer question 1. Generally speaking, neck pickups are slightly lower resistance than the bridge pickup. Fundamentals and all that. With regards to a specific one for the neck on a sterling, i cant comment.
