discreet
Despite my attention being diverted by other basses, Spector GAS is still rampant... especially since I saw this today: http://www.bassdirec...ack_Cherry.html Edited March 20, 2015 by discreet
miles'tone
A G&L L2500 Tribute in TBS. Don't need one but I've never played one of these and I really fancy having a fiddle with one (fnarr) to hear what all the knobs and switches do. lou24d53
Ever since playing my very first ever at the Moffat Bass Bash two weekends ago, a Musicman Classic 4. Edited March 24, 2015 by lou24d53
ben4343
I'm GASing like frack for a Sandberg P bass, even though I have absolutely zero use for it. It's just as well I can't find a UK-based Cali VS to try, otherwise I fear I'd be a lot poorer... And when on earth is the Nano POG going to be released?!? I waited patiently (well, not that patiently) until April 14th (Anderton's predicted shipping date) only to see it slide to mid-May... I'm not sure I can take it... ivansc
Was fettling my MIM bitsa Precision Sunday morning after a gig and realised what I have REALLY wanted all along is to get my old (stolen in 1964) 1962 Sunburst Precision back. *sigh* Since I couldn't afford to buy a real one, I guess I am forced to GAS over any of the 62 reissues that actually have that same wonderful wide-flat neck profile as mine. So... Squier? MIJ? USA? Don't seem to be too many in the for sale section at th moment, either... Ah well - At least I am over my Pedulla Buzz addiction now. Not too useful in a rock and roll band! Marc S
I really shouldn't have any GAS But I do keep coming back to look at this; It was posted by Dazed on the Limelight thread (apols for borrowing your pictures Dazed) But it's just such a gorgeous colour and the wear & tear just gives it a real vintage look ... but maybe I'd go for a P, rather than a Jazz - as I've already got too many of those! Paul S
Still got bad GAS for a medium scale Jazz bass JB-63M in black or white. I'm sure one will turn up eventually. Of course I could always order a new one from Japan but that isn't the point, really. Thrill of the chase and all that. Silly GAS for a Squier Katana bass preferably in black. GK MB 500 Fusion, or whichever order those initials go in. MB Fusion 500 GK? Quite like the idea of a valve preamp again. All of which is pretty tame by some GAS standards. I must try harder! Bobthedog
Suddenly I have an urge for a 5 string, although having tried a Squire, I did not like it all. Bizarrely I still want a 5 though and there are a couple for sale on here right now that are not helping!
Speaking as one who has owned (briefly) a Squier 5 along with many other 5s, I would say that that's because the Squier 5 is quite an unpleasant bass to play and there are many, many better 5s out there. CamdenRob
I don't have full blown GAS at the moment, as in GAS for stuff I've convinced myself I need to improve my setup (this is true GAS), but I still have GAS for things I like the look of... A quick blast through the Bass Direct website has turned up these four I would very much like... That Brubaker at the top is £499.... I really have no reason to click 'add to cart' yet still I keep hovering dangerously close to it.
lowhand_mike
chronic Spector GAS has got me at the moment and i'm having an urge for a 5iver even though ive never played one. The Rebop on Thomann has got me as have a couple in the for sale section fortunately(un) i'm not flush right now and that one above from bass direct is just x-rated
Noisyjon
There's the forever low lying GAS for a Wal but the real GAS build up ATM is for a nice Jazz bass here!
byrne182
changed my mind, was GASing for a Burns Bison but now finding I am lusting after a LImelight P bass in 2 Colour Sunburst with maple fretboard
Roland Rock
I have GAS for the first time in ages; a Cataldo NRbird 5 string. Trouble is after import duty it's about £400 over budget.

leroydiamond
Thought I was fine for Basses, but the Celinder basses that have been on the 'for sale' section, have really got the GAS juices flowing

Paul S
Just looked at my last post #511 just 8 weeks ago and two of the three items I now have - a black Squier Katana and an amp with a valve preamp (albeit a Little Mark Tube 800). Just need the medium scale Jazz in black or white and, er... well... maybe not an end but, you know...
