Woodinblack Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 [quote name='zawinul' timestamp='1436560179' post='2819236'] A thin necked, 4 string, active, fretless with lines, lightweight, not muddy sounding, that sings, ebony fretboard for roundwounds only, very trebly sound, pre-amp, and YES before you all say it: [font=arial,helvetica,sans-serif][size=6]ACG!!!! Now I have my ACG! Quote

Grand Wazoo Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 This PRS Gary Grainger 5 strings model will probably be the last ever bass I'll ever buy. Simply gorgeous to me. Quote
Modman Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Currently would love a Lakland but I don't like the idea of having a bass which doesn't have 24 frets. I'd also love a fretless bass but finding a use for it to make it worth buying is hard. Quote

Bass Pedal Geek Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 A good J-type lined fretless with 4 or 5 strings... Quote
AntLockyer Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Sort of gassing for some custom mold ear plugs. If we make any money with this new band I'll get some. Weirdly just 5 minutes ago I started thinking how nice an ampeg 8x10 would be. Quote
alyctes Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Something semi-acoustic. Possibly fretless. (I'd love philw's defretted BEX 4 but I really cannot find the cash...) Quote

joshua.harris1234 Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 I have GAS for a Fodera Emperor 5 Standard or a Warwick Streamer Stage I. Both really high end basses which are really versatile and will last a long time which again, I'm looking for in a bass at the moment but the only problem is, is that it will take me around 6 years to save up by the rate I'm going at the moment. Happy to wait this sort of time but it's so hard to choose between them Quote

Noisyjon Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 I still have the eternal Wal Mk.1 fretted 4 GAS but the most recent do-able GAS is for: Tech21 VT Bass 500 amp with a Barefaced Retro Two10 cab Quote
Number6 Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 I'm really drawn to an Ovation Magnum I or II never played one but i love the shape and pickup set up. Quote

The Veg Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 1980s esh Serious Bass. Virtually unknown over here in USA, but I fell in lust with it when I lived in Germany in the late '80s. Haven't laid eyes on one in person in 26 years but I still fantasise about it. Quote

TrevorR Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 I keep looking at those Sire Marcus Miller V7 5-strings on Thomann... And then at the price... And then at the bank balance... And then at the missus... Quote
Grassie Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Status Streamline. I have no idea why. Perhaps its because they're unlike anything else out there. I quite fancy rocking one of those in my sh*te pub band, just to be a little perverse... Quote
Bobthedog Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Dingwall ABII as just played with at Bass Direct. Just need to check for some any change behind the sofas etc. Quote
