Woodinblack
A thin necked, 4 string, active, fretless with lines, lightweight, not muddy sounding, that sings, ebony fretboard for roundwounds only, very trebly sound, pre-amp, and YES before you all say it: ACG!!!! unless something else is available, there is always Mayones, Shuker, Sandberg, Status, even Marcusyzxkzx (can't spell it) .....but it a lot of dosh for a completely non gigging non musician!!!
I thought that, so I went out and started gigging. Now I have my ACG!

Grand Wazoo
This PRS Gary Grainger 5 strings model will probably be the last ever bass I'll ever buy. Simply gorgeous to me.
Modman
Currently would love a Lakland but I don't like the idea of having a bass which doesn't have 24 frets. I'd also love a fretless bass but finding a use for it to make it worth buying is hard.

AntLockyer
Sort of gassing for some custom mold ear plugs. If we make any money with this new band I'll get some. Weirdly just 5 minutes ago I started thinking how nice an ampeg 8x10 would be.

alyctes
Something semi-acoustic. Possibly fretless. (I'd love philw's defretted BEX 4 but I really cannot find the cash...)

joshua.harris1234
I have GAS for a Fodera Emperor 5 Standard or a Warwick Streamer Stage I. Both really high end basses which are really versatile and will last a long time which again, I'm looking for in a bass at the moment but the only problem is, is that it will take me around 6 years to save up by the rate I'm going at the moment. Happy to wait this sort of time but it's so hard to choose between them

The Veg
1980s esh Serious Bass. Virtually unknown over here in USA, but I fell in lust with it when I lived in Germany in the late '80s. Haven't laid eyes on one in person in 26 years but I still fantasise about it.

TrevorR
I keep looking at those Sire Marcus Miller V7 5-strings on Thomann... And then at the price... And then at the bank balance... And then at the missus...
Grassie
Status Streamline. I have no idea why. Perhaps its because they're unlike anything else out there. I quite fancy rocking one of those in my sh*te pub band, just to be a little perverse...
