For some strange reason, I have a yearning for YOB Precision. I have my dream set of basses so now, a YOB bass has become my new GAS. Luckily I haven't seen any but the search is good fun

Having watched a bit of porcupine tree last night on youtube I have gas for a fretless wal, it sounded sooooooooo good!

Maybe considered a bit low end but quite fancy an Ibanez SR300 in soda blue (or orange) with the maple neck. Had the "Iron Pewter" version a year or two back and got rid of it - but actually rather miss it.

Oh yeah, and a Status 4-string Streamline in silver with wraparound LED's in the neck - that's more of a long-term wish though The Ibanez will probably happen first

An old Ibanez SR800LE with Lo-Z pickups. There's a beauty on ebay but it's priced just a bit too high and the lad won't play ball.

The LE model has a two band pre amp. I've had a couple of three-band vari-mid models over the years and never really liked them. The AFR picks came in at that poimt too.They came in around 91, I think.

GASing something chronic for a seafoam/surf green Fender P.

there was a MIJ seafoam green precision on here about a year and a half ago being sold by someone in Glasgow (i think) that i often kick myself for not snaffling. only a tort pickguard away from being the one.

Either that or a YOB JV P bass... 1982 incidentally, if anyone's got one doing nowt.
