tom1946
Squier VM P bass in Amber with maple board, was a fool to sell the one I had. That pink Suhr that's for sale... wonderful thing that.
mattbass6
For some strange reason, I have a yearning for YOB Precision. I have my dream set of basses so now, a YOB bass has become my new GAS. Luckily I haven't seen any but the search is good fun
andydye
Having watched a bit of porcupine tree last night on youtube I have gas for a fretless wal, it sounded sooooooooo good!
anzoid
Maybe considered a bit low end but quite fancy an Ibanez SR300 in soda blue (or orange) with the maple neck. Had the "Iron Pewter" version a year or two back and got rid of it - but actually rather miss it.
anzoid
Oh yeah, and a Status 4-string Streamline in silver with wraparound LED's in the neck - that's more of a long-term wish though The Ibanez will probably happen first
Fisheth
A fretless/6 string Happy for amplifiers though.

chaypup
At the moment - absolutely nothing. Took possession of a Steinberger Synapse 4-string a month or so ago and it's pretty much "the one" (yeah, yeah, I know...). It's getting boring for the guys I play with as I keep turning up with the same bass... but it's so nice.
What you really want is a 5 string version then. 4-string-thing
One of these.... or one of these....

If it had been a four string I'd have beaten down your door to get at it. As is... might have to think about it

fretmeister
I'm gassing for a guitar amp for a change. I want a Friedman PT-20 "Pink Taco" 20w all valve, hand wired, modded plexi tones. I'm having a Van Halen problem at the moment.
Doctor J
An old Ibanez SR800LE with Lo-Z pickups. There's a beauty on ebay but it's priced just a bit too high and the lad won't play ball.
Doctor J
The LE model has a two band pre amp. I've had a couple of three-band vari-mid models over the years and never really liked them. The AFR picks came in at that poimt too. They came in around 91, I think. yondergo
GASing something chronic for a seafoam/surf green Fender P. there was a MIJ seafoam green precision on here about a year and a half ago being sold by someone in Glasgow (i think) that i often kick myself for not snaffling. only a tort pickguard away from being the one. Either that or a YOB JV P bass... 1982 incidentally, if anyone's got one doing nowt. Edited November 28, 2015 by yondergo
