Clarky Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 Carrying on the Alembic theme, I fancy a Brown bass or Stanley Clarke ... but would have to weigh under 10 pounds given my dodgy back Quote

CPBass Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 Im having random thoughts about how great life would be if I had a Mike Lull 5 string Thunderbird in Black. All my problems would disappear. Mind you, they ( my problems ) promised to do that once i'd bought my first Warwick. Quote

MikanHannille Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 A stingray. I had one before and I'm missing it. Quote
Thunderpaws Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 A proper MusicMan Stingray, Trans Green. Quote
Thunderbird Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 An overwater of some description or something active but my Gas changes on a daily basis lol Quote
deaver Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 I have got a kind of anti-GAS at the moment. I want to get rid of everything and then get a lightweight combo and a Yamaha BB414. I expect all this will pass. Quote
Japhet Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 Nothing springs to mind apart from A DRUMMER WHO CAN KEEP TIME! Quote
Highfox Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 Ok, a few weeks ago I said I was Gas free.. Now I'd like another MM Stingray 2 eq but in natural and maple from the early 90's... if anyone spots one please shout. Quote
fretmeister Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 I really fancy one of the super light weight Mike Lull models. A nice passive PJ would be ace. And for the first time for years I'd like a fretless jazz again. Definitely with lines though!! Quote
Low End Bee Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 No change. Credit card getting twitchy...
I quite badly want one of these. Shame I'm skint at the moment.
Quote
AndyTravis Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 A kala u-bass. This has changed my bass priorities. And the Starcaster has also blown me away, what a bass! Quote

I quite like the look of the new Fender Dimenion, or at least the American Delxue version; and the new Starcaster. However, I think it's more time for a clear-out than a spree Quote
lojo Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 (edited) the yellow/maple Sandberg TM5 in bassdirect, everything I hate about basses in one package, cant understand it, i love it ? Edited October 20, 2013 by lojo Quote
discreet Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Today it's a Mike Lull PT4... blue, white guard, rosewood. http://mikelull.com/site/instruments/basses/bass-PT4_PT5.html Quote
alittlebitrobot Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 This website has introduced me to Shuker and ACGuitars and it's been a bit of a revelation. I've heard clips of ACG basses being played and they sound as good as they look. I just bought a new bass. I don't need a new bass. I just don't. This is absurd. GAS is hell. Quote
bartelby Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 I saw a Black/Maple Fender Modern Player Jazz Satin in real life yesterday. The build quality was fantastic. I refrained from having a try as I would depress me not being able to buy one there and then. But currently it's top of the GAS list. Quote
Immo Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 (edited) Dusty Hill signature P-Bass. A white P-Bass body with black pickguard. I have all the other parts required to build a new P-Bass with two split coils. Oh, and Fender Greta amp to be used as bass preamp/drive. I also GAS-ed for some oldie-but-goldie mojo bass guitar and seemed to hit the jackpot with a P-Bass styled instrument made of ash, with dual Schaller Humbuckers and Schaller 3D bridge at silly price. AntLockyer Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 I'm gassing for an EBS 4x10 right now. Quote
