dannybuoy Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 (edited) After getting an Ashdown CTM15, I want to go back to tubes. So I want to try out an RH750, TTE500, and Jule DeMonique for the lighter options, and a CTM100, 100T, Mesa Prodigy and Matamp for the full tube options. And either a Barefaced 69er or Bergantino NV115 to go with it! Oh and a Jack Casady bass. Not much then... Edited December 31, 2013 by dannybuoy Quote
DaytonaRik Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014
If I had a spare £3k to blow . I keep going back to the Mike Lull JAX T4 Jeff Ament in Cardinal red at Bassdirect .
Yup - I keep looking at that and wondering what else I can sell!!!! I'd take a T4 if forced!!! In the real- world... Well gigged Gibson Thunderbird IV Sandberg California TM4 hardcore relic in black Quote
Chris Horton Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 I have had gas for a few years now for a Wal Mk2 or Mk 3, 5 string fretless with line markers. Quote
xroads Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 A 5-string PJ bass. Preferrably a Lull PJ5 or I would love to try the new Carvin PB5.... Quote
Chambo Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 I think that there are 3 things that I'd like: Prometheus Ahab Letts Scroll bass ACG Moth Quote
Razor Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 I wanna fretless jazz, or just a fretless that's smaller than my blazer, being technically a hobbit .. Quote
thisnameistaken Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 I'd really like a Yamaha BB1025x, in white. It's fairly irrational, because I don't need one, but I think they're pretty. I've also been thinking about finding a YOB Jazz, which would be a '74 for me, but I haven't played a decent one yet. Maybe there weren't any good ones built in 1974. Quote
jazzyvee Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Still lusting for a Series I or II short scale Stanley Clarke Style alembic bass. Jazzyvee Quote
discreet Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 It's STILL a Barefaced '69er. Action needs to be taken! Now, where's my list of scams... Quote
DarkHeart Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 (edited) the more i play my Westone the more i want a Steinberger Edited January 4, 2014 by DarkHeart Quote
Taria Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 I have recently sold my Warwick Corvette $$ 5 string....it was very sad seeing him go but I know he has gone to a good home, I am extremely interested in 3 different basses and not sure which to go for: Ibanez SR1200 Yamaha BB2004 Peavey Cirrus (USA) Currently I am leaning toward the Peavey Cirrus.......I have heard amazing things..... But lets face it - I actually just want all of them. Quote
andydye Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014
Orange ad200b and obc115 for me please santa
just the OBC115 left on the immediate GAS list now Quote
Highfox Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Lol, I said in December I had none, now have an incoming bass Quote
Michael J Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 For some reason that I do not understand I'd like a seven string fretless, entirely black, with no markings at all. Don't ask me why. Quote
CamdenRob Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Pair of quality 1x12s on the GAS radar for me this afternoon.... Quote
Myke Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Some sort of 2x10 with some sort of head! Not very specific at all! Quote
Jonesy64 Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 (edited) A vintage white Yamaha BB1024x. The GAS has built up very quickly after seeing that BB2024x up for trade a few days ago, I didn't realise just how smart they are Edited January 28, 2014 by Jonesy64 Quote
ern500evo Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 The sudden GAS attack I developed for a Musicman Bongo 4 HS Stealth is showing no signs of going away! Quote
Graham Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Got a lot of GAS for an all valve amp at the moment, keep looking at Ashdown CTM300s and Orange Thunderverb 200s Also a 6-string fretless after looking up Steve DiGiorgio videos last night. Sometimes I think it's lucky I'm broke. Quote
Fionn Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 I've got big GAS for a Warwick Alien. There's one for sale here at the moment too. I don't have the funds ... it's killing me. Pah!!! Quote
KiOgon Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Lovin the new breed of semi's that are around, Fender Coronado - aged cherry burst or maybe the Starcaster in CAR, bit worried about the short scale, then along comes the Limited Edition Epiphone Jack Casaday looks gorgeous in white & it's proper long Quote
