£220 picked up from Essex

Hi all,

Sad to sell this inexpensive but fantastic bass but am struggling for cash and since I got a USA jazz deluxe 4 most of my other basses aren't getting a look in.

You probably know about these - if not, have a look here: http://overwaterbass...-by-tanglewood/

Looks like this one:

This bass is so good I took it on tour with an orchestra (Hooked on Classics with ELO's Louis Clark) instead of my Sadowsky or Warwick and it performed superbly.

Great jazz tone and precision too!

£250 please - I'm based in Chelmsford, Essex. Don't think I've got a box to ship it so pickup only or meet somewhere for a bit of petrol money please.

Feel free to PM any questions. It's in good condition but doesn't come with a case.

Picked up one of these a couple of months ago. Absolutely stunning bass for the money. Really can't believe how great an instrument it is.

I can't believe this is still here!

Mike is a top guy too. Friendly, trustworthy etc..

Mike: If you need a box I can help you on that. Loads of packing stuff here.

Cheers

Hey! 10lbs on my slightly dodgy digital bathroom scales!

I have one of these and it's my main gigging and recording bass (well sometimes I use my Tanglewater Contemporary Jazz on recordings). Fantastic playability and sound. Mine weighs about the same too.

As I say, I took this on tour with a professional orchestra and it sounded amazing! I just need the money and already have another couple of 4st jazzes!

I met with Mike again yesterday and bought his Ibanez Gary WIllis from him. He's a really nice guy and his gear is in good condition too.

Cheers

Sorry can't help with moving it on as I already own one.
Have to say though that I recently acquired an EB MM Stingray and I also have the Contemporary OW/Tanglewood J 2 band active, but of all three this is strangely the one I always pickup without thinking about it.
Wonderful quality and feel, unbelievable value in my novice opinion.
Hope someone who plays for the joy of the instrument picks up a real bargain. :)
