Well, I live over in Austria, so Euros are my native currency... ;)

haha, sorry. I didn't think to look at your location :D
Well, what would your asking price be in Euros?

I must admit, I don't know anything about the 1306. I only recently played an SR506 (and very much enjoyed it) so I'm not familiar with the variations of Soundgears yet.
Are the biggest differences between this and the 506 the electronics and the woods? I'm asking because I want to be sure it feels like the 506 I played (body size, body shape, scale length, neck shape, string spacing at bridge and nut). You said the string spacing is 16.5 so it seems like all the other dimensions probably are the same as the 506.

I'm looking for around 700 Euros, but contact me via PM for details... (I didn't care to post the exact amount in pounds, due to exchange rate fluctuations.)

I'm no outspoken Ibanez specialist, but I reckon that the general body shape and neck dimensions are pretty similar among at least the higher-level Soundgears. The main advantages of this model are surely the exotic woods, the electronics and of course the build quality.

This particular model is claimed to be the best bass that Ibanez ever built (I think I read that on Talkbass somewhere), but of course that is highly subjective until you know every other model they have ever built

All I can say is that if you are looking for a very high-quality six stringer that does not kill your back and/or hands (hey, it weighs less than most of the four stringers I've ever played without being the least neck-heavy), whose woods flatter your touch and - of course - if you are into that particular Soundgear sound (with added warmth and character from the wood combinations), then this is the instrument to look at.

(Sorry if this sounds like an ad blurb <_<)

There is no padauk on the body, this is full mahogany. I have a version of the 1306 with the mahogany / padauk sandwitch, see the picture below (the other bass on the left is a SR3006E w/ full mahogany body)
Anyway, this great bass with killer upgrades (Emg and Aguilar OBP)
Whoever buys it will not be disappointed to say the least.

Sorry if this caused any confusion, I received this information from the previous owner, but he might just have taken some general description with means 'Body is made of Mahogany and/or Padauk depending on model' or the like.
