andyonbass
Anyone had any experience of buying items from the states using the above system? As I understand it you pay the import charges up front and there are no surprise charges. However I'm a bit cynical about this especially as it seems like you have to "Buy it now " before you actually find out what the charges are . Or am I missing something? Any thoughts? warwickhunt
Do a quick search on BC, I am sure that this has been discussed quite recently.

MilkyBarKid
As far as I can see they are massively overcharging. The total should be about 20-23% on top of the total of total of shipping and cost of goods - my quick calcs put it at around 50% more than that. Someone is making a tidy profit. Probably ok for small items but for big ticket items definately opt out.
