Clarky
I just bought a set of Pyramid flats for my Jazz bass, put them on and immediately removed as I prefer the softer feel of Lakland Jo Osborn flats. They've been on my bass for a matter of a couple of hours and are 100% as-new, bar me clipping the very long E/A string silk ends slightly for a Fender 4-a-side headstock. These work out at £29 plus post from Thomann, taking it to over £30 to buy (they are £44 at Stringbusters!). So how about £25* posted, a 25%+ saving for a couple of hours use? For those unfamiliar, these are very retro sounding flats (as used by Jefferson Airplane at end-60s etc) and are ideal for blues, reggae and old school Motown. They do not do bright and zingy! The price is £25 for avoidance of doubt, including UK post Edited September 12, 2013 by Clarky
