captain black
Hi all, Having just bought a new P bass from these very pages my spector now has to go. I will be sorry to wave it off but hey ho! what can you do. I've already put this up for sale or trade this year and then withdrawn it but this time it just 'has to go' as the wife says. It has a VERY SLIGHT (unphotographable) indentation on the back of the neck which doesn't affect playing. In fact I only mention it to be totally honest about things. Apart from that it's in as new condition (never been gigged) and comes with a hard case. It has been upgraded to include EMG ceramic pups and an 18v preamp as opposed to the usual Tone-pump circuitry. It's a lovely bass which has a great neck and a lot of tonal variety. I wish I could keep it. I know there's a credit crunch but I'm looking for offers around £400. Thanks for looking. Chris2112
I have one of these as my main bass (but just with standard pickups and preamp, I didn't feel a great need to change them), and they are absolutely cracking. So good I sold my Status Stealth bass after getting it!
captain black
Yeah, I know Chris. The preamp was installed when I bought it. Gives it that extra little bit of versatility I think. I'll certainly miss it when it's gone.
