I have to say, it does look the most "neutered" of all Schecter's not-officially-copies. Like the OP says, a bit like the lawyers were standing over the designer's shoulders at the drawing board.

(I say this as the proud owner of a Model T, which couldn't be mistaken for anything but a souped-up Fender copy!)
