edstraker123
I was the first owner of this beauty - I seem to recall I paid 1200 new but sold it as the neck was a bit wide. I still think it is one of the most stunning basses I have ever seen. I couldn't sleep the night before picking it up I was that excited. Crazy price for it now though on ebay . RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE
Nice bass. Why did you sell?

edstraker123
Neck was a little too wide for my small hands and I was going through a period of GAS insanity which meant I was trading basses with ridiculous frequency ! Credit was a lot easier to come by a few years back !
karlfer
I know this feeling. The Bass Gallery have somehow got the SEI that I commissioned a decade ago. I sold it to Loz of this very parish about 5 years ago when we were SERIOUSLY skint. It's in the Gallery at £1300 and I can't afford to buy it back. Ou7shined
So is bit about it being a trade show bass true or just sales guff then?
bigthumb
[quote name='edstraker123' timestamp='1378935920' post='2206863'] I was the first owner of this beauty - I seem to recall I paid 1200 new but sold it as the neck was a bit wide. I was very tempted with that but really I only do 4's! The neck was quite wide, you would expect it to be less than 40mm at the nut (cant remember exactly) but I did find it tricky at times. I think it was due to financial woes that I sold it on. Sure is a beautiful bass though and the build quality is stunning.
smaz
Is that the one that he's had pictures of on his site for a while now? If so, it looks absolutely stunning... Glad I don't have that kinda money available, or I certainly wouldn't now!
timmo
So is this a bass for a farmer or a builder?
