Jonnyboy Rotten
I just bought a brand new Korg Pitchblack Poly Tuner pedal. I got it out the box and put the battery in. Then plugged my Squier P bass into and then from the pedal into the passive input in my Hartke A100. When I pressed the pedal I could hear the guitar coming through the amp. When I pressed it again there was no sound which I guess is how it should be. However the pedal didn't seem to register any of the strings being played. I wondered if it was because it hadn't been calibrated yet but the instructions said that it was calibrated at the factory. So why might this be? The other problem is that when I pressed the pedal it popped quite loudly through the amp. Surely it is not supposed to do this? Can any one help? Is my pedal faulty or am I missing something?
