Lord Sausage
I'm flirting with the idea of swirl painting a guitar, Borax method. Anyone ever done this? i think i get the general gist of it. Anyone know if you can use nitro paints underneath, or does it have to be plasti-kote paint? gjones
You'd be better off asking Damien Hirst he's the expert http://www.damienhirst.com/projects/2011/flea-bass

NancyJohnson
I did one a while ago on a six string Strat body for a lark - I don't have the body any more so no pics. We just followed a You Tube video...there's plenty out there. Just make sure the body is primed to your desired base colour and rubbed down so the paint will adhere. Dustbin of water, dunk in guitar body, add the paints (we used little pots of model paint), mix lightly, pull out body slowly. Allow to dry somewhere. It was an OK project...a bit of Sunday fun.
