TRBboy Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Hey guys, I seem to be getting some sort of ground hum on my backup bass, a Yamaha BB605. If I touch the strings, knobs, bridge or any other metal parts it stops, but as soon as I let go there it is. I've checked in the control cavity and everything seems to be connected just fine. Has anyone got any suggestions? Thanks. Quote

kyboo Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 I have had 604 and I find the stock pickups noisy as such. They are single coils. Try to set the balance knob in the middle and check the hum again. Quote
