Pickups for a jazz bass? Standard Fender US jazz tone would be fine...

Got a Squire Vintage Modified Jazz V, want to replace some hardware... The pickups are "Duncan designed" and I find the tone too trebly, a bit like having the tweeter loud on the cab, every hit of the strings on the frets sounds really loud. And I'd like it to sound more punchy too... If I turn the Tone down, it just sounds artificially muffled. While remaining passive, I'd like it to sound as close as possible to my US Jazz Deluxe (which is active) but I'm also a fan of the passive tone of the US Standard model... And I'd like to spend up to around £100 max...

The Seymour Duncan Basslines have a good price, but how would they sound for what I'm after?

What else would you suggest?
