MIM Fender jazz bass £200

From a serial number check, this is one of the old ones from 93 I think. I've had it and been gigging with it for about 6 years now and it's been doing me pretty well.
BUT, as far as I know, all original pickups etc. and they're starting to show a few signs of age and wear now. Aside from a few dings in the laquer and a slight chip on the neck, the body and neck are in good condition though, so would do well if anyone's after a project bass.

I'm on the hunt for a jazz. Very interested in this bass, although i wouldn't be able to upgrade it for a while (poor student). When you say the pickups are showing signs of wear what exactly do you mean? are they fully functional and just cosmetic damage? or will they need replacing?

They're working fine, I've been using up until the last couple of weeks, mostly they just look their age. I was going to upgrade them, but hadn't really felt the need in the end. Sound wise, just a bit of single coil buzz occasionally
