Norris Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 Blimey - another couple of years and his 'anchor' thumb is going to go right through that bass and come out the other side! Quote
SpaceChick Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 I follow him on twitter, he's just back from Australia. He was very helpful to me when I was trying to get my sound right for my Floyd band. He hasn't been on for months though Quote

ezbass Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 Very nice, I really like the way Guy rakes on that. However, what's up with the string spacing on Betsy, the spacing between the A and D looks overly wide and uneven? Doesn't make any odds to his performance though. Quote
visog Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 Great tone... (string spacing looks off to me but what does that matter?) Quote
visog Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 Hang on... what happened to his signature Warwick - the Les Paul alike with its guts hanging out? Quote
paul_5 Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 He's round at mine - we be chillin' I wish. Quote

[/quote] We really have become obsessed with 'perfect' fit and build, I'm as invested in this ethos as the next player (the fit on my Lakland is as tight as a gnat's chuff; it plays and sounds great) but when I look at my 63 P bass you could comfortably fit a 2mm pick in the neck pocket gap (maybe bigger) and the Bent Bit Of Tin bridge is not an engineering marvel, however, it plays and sounds brilliant.
