yorks5stringer Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 So I've got =£50 in credits at Thomann, what shall I get? Can only think of a cheap pedal ( maybe the Behringher V Tone 121 ) or a Markbass wedge stand. Anyone else think of something they'd get, don't forget postage is 10 euros too. Any ideas gratefully received...but I'm OK for leads, bass stands, mic and mic stands, cases for amp and basses. Quote
discreet Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 (edited) Get yourself a nice Minotaur strap. http://www.thomann.d...03b90536de60f47 Failing that, the BDI-21 is always great value for money. Everybody should have one. Edited September 18, 2013 by discreet Quote
FinnDave Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 I used mine to get a headphone amp, bought the Vox one and love it, not bad for a few minutes work writing reviews. Quote
Junkyard Rocket Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 do you currently have something hassle-free to record your gigs & rehearsals? if not add 30 quid and get a zoom h1 Quote
yorks5stringer Posted September 18, 2013 Author Posted September 18, 2013 Thanks so far, but got headphones, like to hear my bass through big speakers, enough strings ( I change them once a year whether they need it or not), drummer records gigs, got enough straps too....! Looks like the Markbass stand or the Behringher BDI-21 Quote
Junkyard Rocket Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 gramma pad? http://www.thomann.de/gb/auralex_acoustics_gramma.htm Quote
yorks5stringer Posted September 18, 2013 Author Posted September 18, 2013
gramma pad? http://www.thomann.d...tics_gramma.htm
Good suggestion! Quote
discreet Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 (edited) Nah. If it's between the Markbass stand, a Gramma Pad and a BDI-21, then it has to be the Berry. You won't get more bang for your buck than that. Really. Edited September 18, 2013 by discreet Quote
yorks5stringer Posted September 18, 2013 Author Posted September 18, 2013 (edited) Just chanced on this: http://www.thomann.d...a75f741d6f3becb I like a nice tool... LiamPodmore Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 I'll add my praise for the BDI-21 as well. Essential piece of kit for any bass player if you ask me. Cheaper than a set of strings! (Disclaimer: it depends on the strings you use). Liam Quote
yorks5stringer Posted September 19, 2013 Author Posted September 19, 2013 Looks like the Berri then although I may sneak in the Gramma too! Quote
