But I've just got too much gear (it's a hard life) and I'd like to get a ring on my good lady's finger before she gives up hope. So, I'd be happy trading for something of lower value and cash. I'm open to anything trade wise as long as it's a passive four string. Something from the fender custom shop would be nice.

I don't know much about these real vintage basses but usually something this old invites a plethora of lusting comments, even if they are only "show us yer pot codes", "will you take my 1st born in trade?". Even the re-fin ones.
