Gonna need more horns, Rod bloody Stewart is on in the main arena.....that's scuppered a nice easy journey home and a couple of bevys in the local before closing!! 😡

I went along last night at short notice, my friend and drummer Pete had a spare ticket .
While I'm not a big Level 42 fan really I thoroughly enjoyed it. We were downstairs near the front. Never been to the O2 before but like indigo as a venue; very nice
Great horn section and drummer too, although to my ears he was a bit low in the mix until the last few songs.
I guess all Mark King aficionados know what to expect and having seen a fair degree of vitriol aimed at his style on here I tried to listen with open ears. Had a great night out listening to a cracking band doing their thing. Tight funky and look like they're having a good time. That preceded by asahi extra dry and a wagamama ramen; what's not to like ?

Their FOH sound chap is a bass player and has been known to come on here, you never know, your observation may be taken on board!
