Alesis VideoTrack £30 at Farnell, anyone know if they are good?

Ordered one anyway as was ordering stuff and gadget urge, figure can do amp demos, the stereo condensers seem to have good potential for practice recording. Anyone used one? Seems cheap compared to other places.

Bought it anyway and got delivered today (ordered at about 6pm yesterday). Did a quick video of testing an amp I just sorted out for the guy from Pigshackle.

It doesn't like volume does it. Does it have any sort of input gain control ?

Apart from that it seems like a decent little unit.

Yeah, found the gain switch on the side, H, M, L, I thought the H by the mic on the screen was high quality sound, but its the sensitivity. The bit where I go 'oooh' is where the stuff in the room comes alive from the bottom.

Took it to practice and recorded jamming with new drummer, did a pretty good job.

I bought one after seeing this thread and used it to record the gig last night. Surprisingly good for the price, not good enough for publicity but certainly good enough for checking out the moves and playing. Recommended.
