I don't really need two gigging heads and as I have recently bought an Aguilar AG500 I'm putting this up to see if there is any interest.

It's a fantastic retro looking head with a great sound. Don't let the size fool you it's a light bugger!

Three valve pre amp made by Denis Cornell matched to a 2ohm capable power amp. Puts out 450 into 4ohms and 530ish into 2ohms. I've never lacked for volume and can do a pub gig with one PC112 and this head.

Active passive inputs, gain, bass, mid, treble with bass and treble mid shift switches to change the frequency centre the knob acts on. Valve driven DI and speakon and jack speaker outs

Can be clean or dirty

I'll get some pics up later.

I'm looking for £500 plus P&P

Saw one of these at SE Bass Bash (Noisyjon's) but only had the briefest of looks. Wish I'd had a play with it now!

@sk8 - what made you keep the Aggy rather than this? I'm not trying to make you say this isn't as good, just - was it the basic sound, tone control options, fx loop (or lack of)...?

Been after the Aggy for a while and plain and simple I need cash! Only need one giggable head and put this up to see if there was any interest.
Love the sound, A/B with my Hiwatt Custom 200 and Berg NV412 using a purple chili 112 and it was so close as made no difference. It's a great amp and I'll be sad to see it go if it does!

It has jack and speaking out or do you mean the 450 watts at 4ohms?!

The higher the ohms the less the output

I'm meaning my Matamp has an output for 4ohm and an output for 8ohm. I think the OTB has a switch for different speaker ohmage.

Where as this just has a socket, so I was wondering if the head has some kind of magic where it just knows the ohmage of the cab?

Ah! right! Same as all other solid state power amps it just sorts it out! Guess its automatic.

The higher the homage the smaller the pipe so less watts if that makes sense?!
