JamieR Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 (edited) [SOLD!!] Spector Euro 4LX Doug Wimbish in High Gloss Ultra Amber http://www.spectorba...re/wimbish.html Bought new just over a year ago. Studio use only. Nice action and lovely to play. A wide range of sounds from the EMGs and lots of control via the Tonepump pre. The neck is narrower and deeper than a standard Euro 4. The sustain on this bass is like a piano! It is in superb condition, virtually as new. However, for transparency and fairness: on close inspection, the gold on the E and A saddles and that side of the bridge has faded slightly (from lots of pick style playing). There's a tiny dunt on the top of the headstock, but the paintwork is intact (Wasn't able to capture it with the camera). There's also a small blemish in the gloss on the back of the body (present when I bought it). Comes with "original" jiffy bag, containing two allen keys and gold straplocks. A hardcase can be negotiated, if required. Pickup or insured delivery by courier (price not included and subject to location). I'd prefer to sell, but would consider trading (plus or minus any difference) for:

Musicman Stingray 4 HH
Other Spectors - Euro or NS with a standard neck profile
A tasty fretless 5 with loads of mwah (preferably unlined)
US Tele or Strat
I also have an Esh for sale here. JamieR Posted September 26, 2013 Author Posted September 26, 2013 Plenty of interest from other Euro owners. Some tempting trades on the table, but nothing agreed as yet so still open to other offers.
Black Coffee Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 That's real nice. Love the colour. Any other five strings trades may tempt you?
JamieR Posted October 1, 2013 Author Posted October 1, 2013 Thanks. I generally prefer fretted 4 strings and fretless 5 strings.
