Barefaced Midget and Cover WITHDRAWN FROM SALE
£425

I am selling my Barefaced Midget which is in perfect condition having been protected in a Roqsolid custom felt lined case from new. I bought it from Alex at Barefaced in December 2011. I have used it with my acoustic (except for me) 3 piece for rehearsals and a dozen or so gigs. It is the black steel fronted version with 2 speakon sockets. Collection from NW London is preferred but I can post if the buyer pays. I am also willing to drive a few miles to meet the buyer if this might help.

For those who don't know about Barefaced the Midget uses a 12" speaker. Barefaced are renowned for their sound quality, sensitivity and power handling. This Midget handles 600 watts and is 8ohms. It only weighs 20lbs.

Has anyone on here ever posted a Barefaced Midget cab?

If so have you any idea of postage costs/the best service to use (Royal Mail/DHL/UPS etc)?

What about getting hold of packaging (a good strong box)?

All answers gratefully received.

Not posted, but mine arrived in a fairly normal carton, with some polystyrene blocks for padding. Certainly nothing more specialist than I would have used..and probably less? Use the double box method, and out plenty of dense material between the boxes - should be fine. Or ask Alex...he may be able to sell you an empty box??

Thanks Bod. Yes I received mine from Alex fairly simply packaged. I'll ask him for any hints about sourcing a box.

I haven't taken any photies of the wee beast. It's in perfect condition, as is the cover. However, I should manage to take some over the weekend and plop them on this post.

It is tweeterless, without a tweeter, has no tweeter. It is in fact a Midget and not a Midget T :-)

I say - thanks for the 'nice owner' bit. I missed this first time around :-)

I live in London E1 and work in London NW6 but as the post says I'm happy to drive a few miles to meet if this helps.
