tedmanzie Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 (edited) I'd like to see Basschat display more topics by default on the page, which would avoid so much page clicking. If not a default then an option to load '50, 100, 250' topics would be good. Download speeds are so good these days that its quicker to browse a long page rather than click through 4 or 5. Especially in the sales forum it would be a time saver and avoid a lot of the bumping to get back onto page 1. There are currently only about 20 topics before the page is full. Not a big issue by any means, but an option would be good in my opinion. Edited September 28, 2013 by tedmanzie Quote
gjones Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Or an option to have a different number of results per page, like ebay does. Quote
xgsjx Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 And a grid view. Or columns. Yes, columns would be good. Quote
discreet Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 I'd like to see a hot tub, a sauna and a swimming pool. Quote
BassBus Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Maybe it's time for you all to put your hands in your pockets and donate some cash to revamp the site that was revamped not that long ago. First world problems, eh. Quote
discreet Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 I'd gladly contribute to a communal hot tub. But we need to sort out some rules first. Quote

An option to see a different amount of results per page isn't a revamp, and may already be a feature of the software which is easily enabled. Quote

BassTractor Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Let's just look reality straight into the eyes, and have two tubs. Who is gonna contribute towards his hot tube when we know we can't trust the rules. I vote: TWO 40p contribution sent. Quote

icastle Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 From a high level technical perspective it shouldn't be difficult to do, but the catch might be what happens when someone accesses the site using a mobile device. Quote

geoffbyrne Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 (edited) Why not try CTRL - from the keyboard? Wait - forget it, that doesn't change the number of headings. Damn. G. Edited September 28, 2013 by geoffbyrne Quote
