I'd love this to sit onstage, next to my rig. Not to use, of course . . .

"INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING WITHIN 4-10 BUSINESS DAYS"!
I wonder what it would be like to play?

Unfortunately it's a 'simi' hollow body, but for all those who are fed up with the amateur 12 string basses out there, it's unmissable!!

Do you think 2 people could play the guitar/bass simultaneously?

This looks like fun. I think they actually look really good visually - probably a pig to play and I can't play guitar at all, but visually, great. This model looks a bit cheap but I have seen hand made custom jobs that looked better quality whilst keeping the same shape as this.

don't play the G on the bass side too hard, or it'll be buzzing against the bridge of the guitar side, and probably the pickups too....

Used to play in a band where my singer (who was also a very good bass player) would come over and play a song bassline on my 6er whilst I simultaneously played the guitarist's harmony part. God we were good!!!! ;o)

I like the concept, but would love to see a bit more time spent on aesthetics and ergonomics! It looks pretty awful and would put me off buying straight away!

These are the cheapo versions - there are some that are the proper job and there was a guy using one on Jools a while back. I was not impressed.

I think MikeyD had one for a while.

There's reviews of a couple of their instruments on HC

"Currently, I wouldn't rely on this guitar to hold a door open."

"Because of the problems in getting the guitar and mandolin properly set up and strung, I was never able to play it, so I can't comment on the tone."

Some may remember this treasure popping up a couple of years ago, I think the defining comment was 'like a chapman stick, but s**t'

I honestly find it hard to believe that Tennessee have ripped of such an awful design, but I guess they think it will sell!

From the website

"If the guitar fretboard was on the top, chords would be insanely difficult. I'm glad I thought of this important design feature."

Wow. I bet.
