Annoying Twit
Is this really MIJ if it's from the 90s? Edit: Most likely Korean it seems In any case, it looks to me like a bass that needs to be bought and restored by someone who knows what they are doing. 51m0n
I have the fretted version, more spector than thumb bass to be honest, esp wrt the bridge, which is a serious hunk of metal! Also ironically easier to slap on that a thumb.... Edited October 4, 2013 by 51m0n
Annoying Twit
There's quite noticeable fretboard wear. Would someone be able to sand down the fretboard and refinish it? (And use flats/tapewound strings to prevent future marking?) Also, the bridge is missing the saddles. Are these standard types that are easy to find? I'm not going to be bidding myself, too far away and I'm not the right person to fix it. If anyone here does buy it, and starts a restoration thread, I'll follow it. Edit: Ray against the machine; have you reviewed your J&D Brothers bass anywhere? I'm not likely to buy one, but I think they look quite nice and have been wondering what they're like. Mykesbass
Might have a punt but don't want to up the bidding if any of you are already on it.
